FRED (Friendly robot to ease dementia) is a low-cost social robot designed to provide company and assist older adults with cognitive decline, creating reminders for important events and tasks, like taking medication, and providing cognitive stimulus through games.
Within this position, I was tasked with crafting inviting and easy-to-use interfaces, optimizing information structures, and designing user systems that seamlessly cater to the targeted audience. Regular user testing and focus groups were conducted to gain insight into the user experience.
